Implementing quality assurance processes and methods of evaluation to affirm that the quality of the Higher Education standards is being maintained.
Development of Self Assessment Reports of the programs keeping in view the requirements laid down in Quality Assurance Manual of Higher Education Commission, Pakistan. He is to be the correspondent with the outside bodies
Annual monitoring and evaluation including program monitoring, faculty monitoring and students perception.
Director QEC will submit fortnightly report of the activities carried out in QEC to Chairman BOG through Registrar Office regularly
Terms of Reference for the Director QEC
Director QEC will be responsible for promoting public confidence that the quality and standards of teaching, learning, research and the services provided at the University are safeguarded, maintained and enhanced.
4. Director QEC will be responsible for defining clear and explicit standards as points of reference for the performance reviews to be carried out. It should also help to inform as to what standards of teaching, research and services are required to be met.
5. Director QEC will be responsible to develop qualifications framework and learning outcomes by settings out the attributes and abilities that can be expected from the holder of a qualification, i.e. Graduation/PCPS/FRCS/Post Graduation/Doctorate and Post Doctorate etc.
6. Director QEC will be responsible to develop programme specifications with the help of faculty. These are standard set of information clarifying what knowledge, understanding, skills and other attributes a student will have developed on successfully completing a specific programme.
Requirement
PhD/MS/MPhil in TQM or relevant field with minimum 5 years relevant experience preferably in a University.
